On June 15th, The Natural Care Clinic will be hosting our 4th Annual Biomedical Conference for Autism, PDD, AD/HD, OCD and Tourette’s Syndrome
Dr. Sonya Doherty and the Natural Care Clinic would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming conference focused on the latest research about biomedical treatment of childhood developmental disorders.
We have an exciting line-up of speakers this year!
Dr. Mumper, M.D. is President and CEO of The RIMLAND Center. Advocates for Families is her practice devoted to the care of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental problems. Dr. Mumper served as Medical Director of the Autism Research Institute for five years and is now on the faculty of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs fellowship training program that mentors health professionals from around the world.
Dr. Mumper is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced biomedical practitioners in the world. She lectures nationally and internationally. Her travels on behalf of children with autism have taken her to Australia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
We are thrilled to add Canada to her list of international lectures and can’t wait to learn about the latest research on how to help children with developmental concerns.
Dr. Carissa Doherty is co-owner of the Natural Care Clinic. Her undergraduate training at the University of Guelph in biomedical toxicology combined with her doctorate in Natuopathic Medicine make her one of the few experts in assessing and treating health disorderes linked to environmental toxicity.
Dr. Carissa will present the latest studies linking envrionmental toxins to neurodevelopmental disorders. Her lecture will also focus on informing parents, educators and other health professionals about testing and effective treatment that every person needs to know about preventing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Carissa specializes in women’s health, pre-natal prevention of developmental disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and fertility.
Jackie McMillan will once again be joining us this year. Jackie is an adult on the autism spectrum who has helped hundreds of families understand “autistic behaviours” and how they relate to pain and discomfort. Her insights into how to support children with neurodevelopmental concerns combined with her extensive knowledge about nutrition and toxicity, make her an incredible resource or families, educators, ECEs and health care professionals.
Dr. Sonya Doherty will present her “Road to Recovery” case presentations highlighting the crucial steps needed to help get children feeling better and developing more quickly. The conference will also feature breakout session where attendees can learn more about important therapies to help children diagnosed with neurodevelopmental concerns.
